Tube by Terry; Scrap papers by Kim's Scrapping This tutorial was created on July 22, 2009 and is the property of It's Me Again Tuts by Bonnie. Please do not remove this tutorial, in whole or in part, to add to another website unless you have permission from me to do so. This tutorial should be able to be created using all versions of Psp. FOR THIS TUTORIAL YOU WILL NEED: Paint Shop Pro (trial version) KS Jumbled Mix Papers Part 1 here Filters Unlimited 2 (optional) Supplies here Chachie font here (type in name of font in search box on page) Pussycat Snickers and Confetti font here Tube of choice Okay, let's get started on our tag! 1. Open your supplies in Psp and minimize to your Psp workspace for now. File/New. Create a new image 720w x 720h white background. Layers/New Raster Layer. Set your foreground/stroke color to #E06ACE. Flood fill the new layer with your foreground color. Layers/New Mask Layer/From Image. Select the SWT-FRMask from the drop box under the Source Window. Source luminance and Invert mask data are selected.
2. Layers/Merge/Merge Group. Image/Resize. Resize the mask by 80%. Resize all layers is NOT checked; bicubic resize type is used. Restore the tube that you will be using on your tag and go to Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste/Paste As New Layer. Resize your tube if needed. Position the tube on the left side of your tag. Effects/3D Effects/Drop Shadow using the settings shown below. Vertical 2; Horizontal 0; Opacity 85; Blur 10; Color Black
3. Restore the string of beads and go to Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste/Paste As New Layer. Image/Resize. Resize the beads by 85%. Resize all layers is NOT checked; bicubic resize type is used. Adjust/Hue and Saturation/Color using the settings shown below. Hue 218; Saturation 131
4. Apply a drop shadow effect to the beads using the same settings as used in Step 2 EXCEPT change the blur to 3. Restore the hanging stars and go to Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste /Paste As New Layer. Image/Resize. Resize the hanging stars by 50% for a total of two (2) times. Resize all layers is NOT checked; bicubic resize type is used. Position the stars so they are hanging from the beads (see header tag for position). Selections/Select All; Selections/Float; Selections/Defloat. Restore the KS_Jumbled Mix paper17 and go to Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste/Paste As New Layer. Position the paper over the hanging stars and go to Selections/Invert. Hit the delete key on the keyboard and go to Selections/Select None. Apply a drop shadow effect to the hanging stars using the same drop shadow effect as used on the beads. 5. Restore the colormehappy jewel1 and go to Edit/Copy. Back to the tag image and Edit/Paste/Paste As New Layer. Adjust/Hue and Saturation/Color using the same settings as used in Step 3. Resize the jewel two (2) times by 50% and one (1) time by 75%. Resize all layers is NOT checked; bicubic resize type is used. Apply the same drop shadow effect to the jewel as used in Step 4 for the beads. Position the jewel on the top point of the large star (see header tag). Layers/Duplicate. Position the duplicated jewel on the top point of the small star. 6. Change the background/fill color to Patterns and select the Jumbled Mix paper16 Angle 0 Scale 65. Activate the text tool and select the confetti font size 72 Vector Anti-alias. Add confetti to your tag where desired. Type the saying "If you can't afford me, then don't bother me!" using the Jumbled Mix paper20. I used the font Chachie; Size 36; Stroke 0; Vector; Anti-alias. Add your name or watermark to your tag. I used the font pussycat snickers for my name. For the text stroke I used paper20, and for the text fill I used paper16.
7. Optional Step - Hide (X out) the white background layer and merge visible all other layers. Effects/Plugin Effects/Filters Unlimited 2/Color Filters/Color Booster with the booster factor set at 64. Layers/Merge/Merge All (flatten). Crop away any excess white space around your tag. Resize your tag if needed and save in desired format.
