Okay, let's get started on our tag!

1.  Open your supplies in Psp; minimize all but the template to your Psp workspace.  Delete the top layer (credits layer) of the template.  Optional Step:  I want my template to be bigger, so I went to Image/Resize and resized the template by 110%.  Resize all layers IS checked; bicubic resize.

2.  With the template being the active image, activate the shape 2 layer.  Selections/Select All.  Selections/Float; Selections/Defloat.  Restore the paper9 and go to Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste/Paste Into Selection.  Selections/Select None.  Effects/3D Effects/Drop Shadow using the settings shown below.

Vertical -2; Horizontal -1; Opacity 80; Blur 5; Color Black

3.  With the template being the active image, activate the large circle layer.  Selections/Select All; Selections/Float; Selections/Defloat.  Restore the paper6 and go to Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste/Paste As New Layer (this way the pattern won't be distorted).  Position the paper 6 over the selection and go to Selections/Invert.  Hit the delete key on the keyboard.  Selections/Select None.  Apply the same drop shadow effect as used in Step 2.

4.  With the template being the active image, activate the small circle layer.  Selections/Select All; Selections/Float; Selections/Defloat.  Restore the paper2 and go to Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste/Paste As New Layer.  Position the paper over the selection and go to Selections/Invert.  Hit the delete key on the keyboard.  Selections/Select None.  Apply the same drop shadow effect as used in Step 2.  Then apply a drop shadow effect using the settings shown below.

Vertical 2 Horizontal 1; Opacity 56; Blur 5; Color Black

  

5.  With the template image being the active image, activate the shape1 layer and go to Selections/Select All.  Selections/Selections Float.  Selections/Defloat.  Restore the paper8 and go to Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste/Paste Into Selection.  Selections/Select None.  Apply the same drop shadow effect as used in Step 2.

6.  With the template being the active image, activate the 2squares left layer.  Selections/Select All; Selections Float; Selections/Defloat.  Restore the paper2 and go to Image/Resize.  Resize the paper2 by 50%; resize all layers IS checked; bicubic resize type is used.  Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste/Paste As New Layer.  Position the paper2 over the selections;  Selections/Invert.  Hit the delete key on the keyboard.  Selections/Select None.  Apply the a drop shadow effect to the squares using the settings shown below.

Vertical 2; Horizontal 1; Opacity 50; Blur 5; Color Black; Repeat the drop shadow effect EXCEPT change the Vertical to -2 and the Horizontal to -1

7.  With the template being the active image, activate the 2 squares bottom layer.  Selections/Select All; Selections/Float; Selections/Defloat.  Repeat the same steps for these squares as used in Step 6.  With the template being the active image, activate the hottie wordart layer.  Selections/Select All; Selections/Float; Selections/Defloat.  Restore the paper7 and go to Edit/Copy.  Back to the tag image and Edit/Paste/Paste Into Selection.  Selections/Select None.  Effects/Texture Effects/Weave using the settings shown below.

Gap Size 2; Width 6; Opacity 44; Weave and Gap color #302E41; Fill Gaps checked

8.  Apply the same drop shadow effect to your text as used in Step 4 (screen shot settings) EXCEPT change the opacity to 75.  Restore the tube that you will be using on your tag; Edit/Copy.  Back to the tag image and Edit/Paste/Paste As New Layer.  Position your tube on the tag as shown in header tag.  Apply a drop shadow effect to the tube using the same settings as in Step 4 EXCEPT change the blur to 12.

9.  Apply whatever elements  you wish to your tag.  Resize the elements to desired size, apply a drop shadow effect, and position the elements on your tag.  Add brush effects to your tag if desired.  Layers/New Raster Layer.  Layers/Arrange/Send to Bottom.  Flood fill this layer with the color white. Add a new raster layer over the white background and apply some brush effects under your tag.

10.  Add your text or watermark to your tag.  For my tag, I used the following settings for my name. 

Chelsea Studio; Size 60; Stroke Width 2; Vector

I used the color #3C3A40 for the width and the paper7 for the text fill.  Then, I applied the weave effect using the same settings as used previously.

11.  Layers/Merge/Merge All (flatten).  Crop away any excess white space around your tag; resize your tag if necessary.  Save tag in desired format.
