Scrap Kit by Scrapity Scrap and More; Woman tube by Fredo's Design, Mask by Veronica
This tutorial was created on March 6, 2009 and is the property of It's Me Again Tuts by Bonnie. This tutorial was created with Psp vs. 9 FOR THIS TUTORIAL YOU WILL NEED THE FOLLOWING: Paint Shop Pro (trial version) Let It Be Scrap Kit here My zip file here Tube and Font of choice Okay, let's start on our tag!
1. Open your supplies in Psp and minimize all but the paper12 to your Psp workspace. Shift+D to make a copy of the paper12; close out the original paper so that you will have it for future use. On the duplicated paper12, go to Layers/Promote Background to Layer. Layers/New Mask Layer from Image. Select the Veronica_Gx mask from the drop box under the Source window. Source luminance and Invert mask data are checked.
2. Layers/Merge/Merge Group. Restore the letitbepaper1ellipse and go to Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste/Paste As New Layer. Layers/Arrange/Send to bottom. Activate the mask layer (top layer) and go to Effects/3D Effects/Drop Shadow using the following settings: Vertical 0; Horizontal 0; Opacity 100; Blur 4; Color #58656B
3. Layers/Merge/Merge Visible. Adjust/Brightness and Contrast/Clarify with a result of 3.
4. Restore the Doubleheart1 and go to Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste/Paste As New Layer. Image/Resize. Resize the doubleheart by 65% for a total of two (2) times and by 70% for a total of one (1) time. Resize all layers is NOT checked; bicubic resize type is used. Position the heart on the left side of the tag as shown on the header tag at the top of the page. Erase part of the ribbon so that it will look like the heart is hanging from the stem of the leaves (See header tag). Apply the same drop shadow effect as used in Step 2. Layers/Duplicate. Image/Mirror. Position the duplicated heart on the right side of the tag as shown on the header tag. 5. Restore the bow4 and go to Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste/Paste As New Layer. Image/Resize. Resize the bow by 65%. Resize all layers is NOT checked; bicubic resize type is used. Apply the same drop shadow effect as used in Step 2 except change the color to black. Position the ribbon at the top of the tag as shown in header tag at top of page. 6. Restore the tube that you will be using on your tag and go to Edit/Copy. Back to the tag image and Edit/Paste/Paste As New Layer. Resize your tube if needed. Position the tube as shown in header tag at top of the page (you may need to erase parts that hand over the yellow part of the tag). Apply a drop shadow effect to your tube if desired; I did not add one to my tube. 7. Restore the flower1 and go to Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste/Paste As New Layer. Image/Resize. Resize the flower one (1) time by 45% and one (1) time by 75%. Resize all layers is NOT checked; bicubic resize type is used. Apply a drop shadow effect to the flower using the settings shown below: Vertical 0; Horizontal 0; Opacity 85; Blur 6; Color Black
8. Layers/Duplicate. Image/Mirror. Restore the butterfly3 tube and go to Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste/Paste As New Layer. Image/Resize. Resize the butterfly one (1) time by 40% and one (1) time by 90%. Apply the same drop shadow effect as used in Step 7. Position the butterfly as shown in the header tag at the top of the page. Restore the letitbenotepaper and go to Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste/Paste As New Layer. Image/Resize. Resize the notepaper by 55%. Resize all layers is NOT checked; bicubic resize type is used. Image/Rotate/Free Rotate. Rotate the notepaper by 20% to the left. Adjust/Sharpness/Sharpen. Apply the same drop shadow effect to the notepaper as used in Step 7. 9. Drag the notepaper layer beneath the tube layer and position as shown in the header tag at the top of the page. Apply some brush effects to the notepaper if desired. Write some text on your notepaper. I wrote "Let me be the one that you love" on my notepaper. Restore the flower3 and go to Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste/Paste As New Layer. Image/Resize. Resize the flower by 30% for a total of one (1) time. Resize all layers is NOT checked; bicubic resize type is used. Position the flower on top of the notepaper as shown in header tag above. Apply the same drop shadow effect as used in Step 7. 10. Add your text or watermark to your tag. For my text I used the following: Font Mazarin; Size 48; Bold; Anti_alias; Stroke width 1 For the stroke width I used paper12 and for the text fill I used paper10. 11. After you add your text to your tag, apply a drop shadow effect to the text, position the text, and go to Layers/Merge/Merge All (flatten). If you need to resize your tag, go to Image/Resize. I resized my tag by 90%. Resize all layer IS checked; bicubic resize type is used. Save in desired format.
