Female tube by Terry; Memories mask by Vix; Tag by Chelle This tutorial was created on October 1, 2009 and is the creation of It's Me Again Tuts by Bonnie. Please do not remove this tutorial, in whole or in part, to add to another website unless you have permission from me to do so. This tutorial was created using Psp vs 8, but I see no reason why it cannot be created using other versions of Psp. For this tutorial you will need the following: Paint Shop Pro (trial version) Penta.com Jeans here Xero Nostalgia here Tag by Chelle here Memories mask by Vix here (download mask #394; will be in first set of masks at top of page) Supplies here Tube and font of choice ~Okay, let's get started on our tag~ 1. Open your supplies in Psp and minimize them to your Psp workspace for now. Set the foreground/stroke color to #88584E and the background/fill color to #AC695D. Create a new image 650w x 650h transparent background. Flood fill the new image with your background color. Effects/Plugin Filters/Penta.com/Jeans using the settings shown below. Adjust/Sharpness/Sharpen. Amount 21; Border 4
2. Layers/New Mask Layer/From Image. Select the Vix_Mask 394 from the drop box under the Source window. Source luminance is checked; Invert mask data is not checked. Layers/Merge/Merge Group.
3. Image/Canvas Size. Change the width and the height of the tag to 700w x 700h. Click on the center arrow of the arrow placement one time.
4. Layers/New Raster Layer. Flood fill this layer with the color #FFFFFF. Layers/Arrange/Send to Bottom. Using the Move tool, move the mask layer over to the right some and up towards the top of the image. Layers/New Raster Layer. Flood fill this layer with the foreground color. Effects/3D Effects/Penta.com/Jeans using the same settings as used in Step 1. Layers/New Mask Layer/From Image. Select the SugarMask_wave from the drop box under the Source window. Source luminance is checked; Invert mask data is checked. Layers/Merge/Merge Group.
5. With the Move tool, move the wave mask over towards the left some so that it will not cover all of your tag (see header tag). Effects/3D Effects/Drop Shadow using the settings shown below. Vertical 0; Horizontal 2; Opacity 50; Blur 5; Color Black
6. Restore the tube that you will be using for your tag and go to Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste/Paste As New Layer. Resize your tube if needed and position on your tag as shown in header tag at top of page. Apply a drop shadow effect to the tube using the same settings as shown in Step 5 EXCEPT change the blur to 10. 7. Restore the WSL_CU tag and go to Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste/Paste As New Layer. Image/Resize. Resize the wsl_cu_tag by 65% for a total of two (2) times. Resize all layers is NOT checked; bicubic resize type is used. Adjust/Hue and Saturation/Colorize. Colorize the tag using the settings shown below. Hue 6; Saturation 56
8. Position the tag on your tag image as shown in header tag or in position of choice. Layers/Merge/Merge Visible. Layers/Duplicate. Effects/Plugin Filters/Xero/Nostalgia using the settings shown below. Color Effects: Saturations 55; Balance 72; Fluorescence -11; Simplify 59 Tinting: Hue 144; Strength 10 Grain: Strength 7 Contrast: Mono Contrast 97; Color Contrast 95
9. Change the blend mode of the duplicated layer to Soft Light and lower the opacity to 72. Layers/Merge/Merge Visible. Add some text to the side border if desired. I wrote "My memories won't leave me alone!" on my border. Add your name or some text to your tag. Layers/Merge/Merge Visible. Layers/Merge/Merge All (flatten). 10. Add a 25 pixel border to your tag using the color #FFFFFF. We are doing this so that the mask we are adding to the finished tag won't cover up too much of the tag itself; sounds confusing? ha, trust me okay. Layers/New Mask Layer/From Image. Select the Mask006 from the drop box under the Source window. Source luminance is checked; Invert mask data is not checked. Layers/Merge/Merge All (flatten). 11. And your tag is finished. Add your name or watermark to the tag. Layers/Merge/Merge All (flatten). Resize your tag if needed, and save in desired position.
