For this tutorial, you will need the following papers from the scrap kit:

Retro pink paper; Jason red paper; Doodle dots; Tippy yellow paper; Bkgrd flowers pop papers; Bkgrd big dots paper; Bkgrd text paper

Okay, let's get started on our tag!

1.  Open your supplies in Psp; resize all the papers and the template to 720w x 720h.  Resize all layers is checked; bicubic resize type is used.  Minimize all your supplies except for the template to your Psp workspace for now.  With the template being the main image, delete the background layer (papel layer) and the titulo layer (text layer).

2.  Activate the papel3 layer.  Selections/Select All.  Selections/Float.  Selections/Defloat.  Flood fill the selected area with the color #D53690.  Selections/Modify/Contract by 3 pixels.  Restore the doodle dots paper and go to Edit/Copy; back to the template image and Edit/Paste/Paste Into Selection.  Selections/Select None.  Apply a drop shadow effect to your circle (Effects/3D Effects/Drop Shadow) using the settings shown below.

Vertical 2; Horizontal 1; Opacity 75; Blur 5; Color Black - repeat the drop shadow effect changing the Vertical setting to -2 and the Horizontal setting to -1

3.  With the template being the active image, activate the papel2 layer.  Selections/Select All.  Selections/Float.  Selections/Defloat.  Restore the jason red paper and go to Edit/Copy; back to the template image and Edit/Paste/Paste Into Selection.  Selections/Select None.  Apply the same drop shadow effect as used in Step 2.

4.  With the template being the active layer, activate the foto1 layer.  Selections/Select All; Selections/Float; Selections/Defloat.  Restore the retro pink paper and go to Edit/Copy; back to the tag template and Edit/Paste/Paste As New Layer (if we paste into selection it will distort the pattern).  Place the retro pink paper over the selection; Selections/Invert.  Hit the delete key on the keyboard.  Layers/Merge/Merge Down.  Selections/Select None.  Apply the same drop shadow effects as used in Step 2.

5.  With the template being the active image, activate the foto2 layer.  Selections/Select All; Selections/Float.  Selections/Defloat.  Restore the flowers pop paper and go to Edit/Copy; back to the template and Edit/Paste/Paste As New Layer.  Position the flower paper over the selection; Selections/Invert.  Hit the delete key on the keyboard.  Layers/Merge/Merge Down.  Selections/Select None.  Apply the same drop shadow effects as used in Step 2.

6.  With the template being the active image, activate the foto4 layer.  Selections/Select All; Selections/Float; Selections/Defloat.  The flower paper should still be copied on your clipboard.  Edit/Paste/Paste As New Layer.  Position the paper over the selection.  Selections/Invert.  Hit the delete key on the keyboard.  Layers/Merge/Merge Down.  Selections/Select None.  Apply the same drop shadow effects as used in Step 2.

7.  With the template being the active image, activate the foto3 layer.  Selections/Select All; Selections/Float; Selections/Defloat.  Restore the big dots paper and go to Edit/Copy; back to the template and Edit/Paste/Paste As New Layer.  Position the paper over the selection; Selections/Invert.  Hit the delete key on the keyboard.  Layers/Merge/Merge Down.  Selections/Select None.  Apply the same drop shadow effects as used in Step 2.

8.  With the template being the active image, activate the foto5 layer.  Selections/Select All.  Selections/Float.  Selections/Defloat.  The big dots paper will still be copied on your clipboard; Edit/Paste/Paste As New Layer.  Position the paper over the selection; Selections/Invert.  Hit the delete key on the keyboard.  Layers/Merge/Merge Down.  Selections/Select None.  Apply the same drop shadow effects as used in Step 2.

9.  Layers/New Raster Layer.  Layers/Arrange/Send to Bottom.  Selections/Select All.  Restore the tippy yellow paper and go to Edit/Copy; back to the template image and Edit/Paste/Paste Into Selection.  Selections/Select None.  Activate the Selection Tool (rectangle, feather 0).  Starting at 80,0 draw a selection over and down to 300, 720.  Selections/Invert.  Hit the delete key on your keyboard.  Selections/Select None.  Effects/Plugin Filters/Xenofex1/Distressed using the settings shown below.

10.  Apply a drop shadow effect to the yellow rectangle using the same settings as used in Step 2.  With the template being the active image, go to Layers/New Raster Layer.  Layers/Arrange/Send to Bottom.  Selections/Select All.  Restore the text bkgrd paper and go to Edit/Copy; back to the template image and Edit/Paste/Paste Into Selection.  Selections/Select None.  Layers/New Mask Layer/From Image.  Select the photo-mask4 from the drop box under the Source window.  Source luminance and invert mask data is checked.

11.  Layers/Merge/Merge Group.  Image/Canvas Size.  Change the width of the tag to 750w; the height stays the same.  Click on the right middle arrow.

12.  Image/Resize.  Resize the mask by 90%.  Resize all layers is NOT checked; bicubic resize type is used.  Move the mask over towards the left side of the tag; position the mask as shown in the screen shot below.  Lower the opacity of the mask to 60.

13.  Restore the tube that you will be using for your tag and go to Edit/Copy; back to the template image and Edit/Paste/Paste As New Layer.  Resize your tube if needed and position as shown in the header tag.  Apply a drop shadow effect to the tube using the settings shown below.

Vertical 2; Horizontal 0; Opacity 85; Blur 12; Color Black

14.  Add your text to your tag and any other elements that you wish to add to your tag.  For my text I used the font Fiolex Mephesto  Size 64  Stroke Width 2  Vector.   I added some flowers from the scrap around my text.  Be sure to add the copyright info on your tag.  Layers/Merge/Merge All (flatten).  Crop away any excess white space around your tag.  Resize your tag if needed, and save in desired format.
