Male tube by Petit Didier; Female tube by Valerie; Clock tube by Monique; Scrap by Petit Moineaux This tutorial was created on August 4, 2009 and is the property of It's Me Again Tuts by Bonnie. Please do not remove this tutorial from my website to add to another website unless you have permission from me to do so. This tutorial can be created using all versions of Psp. FOR THIS TUTORIAL YOU WILL NEED THE FOLLOWING: Paint Shop Pro (trial version) Meliage Scrap Kit here Mask84 here Vintage Musk Texture here Supplies here Ormente 11 filter here Male and female tube of choice Happy Daze font here Okay, let's get started on our tag! 1. Open your supplies in Psp and minimize all but the texture to your Psp workspace. Shift+D to make a duplicate of the texture; close out the original texture so you that you will have it for future use. Using the Selection Tool (rectangle, feather 0), draw a selection around the brown part of the texture. Image/Crop to Selection. This will get rid of the grey part of the texture at the bottom. Image/Resize. Resize the texture by 50% one (1) time and by 90% one (1) time. Resize all layers is NOT checked; bicubic resize type is used. Layers/Promote to Background. 2. Image/Canvas Size. Change the width of the canvas to 1200w and the height of the canvas to 900h. Click the center placement arrow. I know this is big, but we can resize later. Move the texture to the far left side of the image. Layers/Duplicate. Image/Mirror. Layers/Merge/Merge Visible. Restore the Tube383_Monique and go to Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste/Paste As New Layer. Position the tube at the top of the left texture. 3. Restore the female tube that you will be using on your tag and go to Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste/Paste As New Layer. Position the female tube under the clock tube on the left texture. Change the blend mode of the female layer to Luminance (L). Restore the male tube and go to Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste/Paste As New Layer. Position the male tube on the right side of the texture. Change the blend mode of this tube to Luminance (L). Effects/3D Effects/Drop Shadow. Apply a drop shadow effect to the male and female tube using the settings shown below. Vertical 2; Horizontal 0; Opacity 85; Blur 10; Color Black
4. Layers/Merge/Merge Visible. Effects/Plugin Filters/Ormentes Filters/Artistic 1 using the settings shown below. Frequency 5; Level 5; Cut Level 50
5. Restore the element37 (staple) and go to Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste/Paste As New Layer. Image/Resize. Resize the staple by 65%. Resize all layers is NOT checked; bicubic resize type is used. Apply a drop shadow effect to the staple using the same settings as used in Step 3 EXCEPT change the blur to 6. Duplicate the staple layer for a total of 4 times and position as shown in header tag. Restore the element28 (tag) and go to Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste/Paste As New Layer. Image/Resize. Resize the element by 50% two (2) times and by 65% one (1) time. Resize all layers is NOT checked; bicubic resize type is used. Apply a drop shadow effect to the tag element using the same settings as used on the staples. Position the tag under the third staple as shown in the header tag. 6. Restore the element19 and go to Edit/Copy; back to the tag and Edit/Paste/Paste As New Layer. Image/Resize. Resize the element19 by 25% one (1) time and by 75% one (1) time. Position the element on the top left corner of your tag. Change the blend mode of the layer to Hard Light. Layers/Duplicate. Image/Mirror. Restore the element44 and go to Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste/Paste As New Layer. Image/Resize. Resize the element by 45% one (1) time and by 65% one (1) time. Resize all layers is NOT checked; bicubic resize type is used. Apply a drop shadow effect to the element using the same setting as used in Step 5. Position the element so that it is hanging from the first staple (see header tag). 7. I used the font Will Robinson Size 36 Color #A78F41 to write out "Tired of waiting for your love" on my tag. I changed the blend mode of the text to Hard Light. Add your name or some text to your tag element. Layers/Merge/Merge Visible. Image/Resize. Resize your tag by 75%. Resize all layers is NOT checked; bicubic resize type is used. Restore the tiredofwaitingpaper1 and go to Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste/Paste As New Layer. Image/Resize. Resize the paper by 65%. Resize all layers is NOT checked; bicubic resize type is used. Image/Rotate. Rotate the paper by 20 degrees to the left.
8. Apply a drop shadow effect to the striped paper using the same settings as used in Step 5. Layers/Arrange/Send to Bottom. Layers/Duplicate. Image/Mirror. You may need to rearrange the layers to look like the papers on the header tag. Apply a drop shadow effect to the tag that is on top of the striped papers using the same settings as used in Step 3. 9. Restore the element19 again and go to Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste/Paste As New Layer. Resize the element to desired size and position on the bottom of the background papers as shown on header tag. Change the blend mode of the element layer to Hard Light. Apply a drop shadow effect to the element using the same settings as used in Step 5. Layers/Duplicate. Duplicate the element two (2) times and position one on each top corner of the striped paper (see header tag). 10. Layers/New Raster Layer. Layers/Arrange/Send to Bottom. Flood fill the layer with the color #FFFFFF. Layers/New Raster Layer. Selections/Select All. Restore the tiredofwaitingpaper1 and go to Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste/Paste Into Selection. Selections/Select None. Layers/New Mask Layer/From Image. Select the WSL _84 mask from the drop box under the Source window. Source luminance is checked; Invert mask data is NOT checked.
11. Layers/Merge/Merge Group. Lower the opacity of the mask layer to 60. Add your watermark or text to your tag. Layers/Merge/Merge All (flatten). Crop away any excess white space around your tag. Resize your tag to desired size and save as a jpg.
