Font of choice

1. Open the Yvette template, True Blue Scrap kit and your tube and graphic and minimize to your Psp workspace for now. Restore the template and go to SHIFT+D to make a copy of the template; close out the original template so you will have it for future use. Delete the credits layer, but please, remember to give credit to Yvette for the template and scrap kit.

2. Activate Layer 1 and go to Selections/Select All; Selections/Float; Selections/Defloat. Set your background/fill color to #3A4861 and flood fill the selected circle. Selections/Modify/Contract by 2 pixels. Restore the Yvette_TrueBlue_Paper10 and go to Edit/Copy. Back to the tag image and Edit/Paste/Paste Into Selection. Selections/Select None. Effects/3D Effects/Drop Shadow using the settings shown below.

Vertical 0; Horizontal 0; Opacity 65; Blur 8; Color Black

3. Activate Layer 2 and go to Selections/Select All; Selections/Float; Selections/Defloat. Flood fill the selection with the background/fill color. Selections/Modify/Contract by 2 pixels. Restore the Yvette_TrueBlue_Paper9 and go to Edit/Copy. Back to the tag image and Edit/Paste/Paste Into Selection. Selections/Select None. Apply the same drop shadow effect as used in Step 2.

4. Activate Layer 3 and go to Selections/Select All; Selections/Float; Selections/Defloat. Flood fill the selection with the color #7288A8 (set as your foreground color). Selections/Modify/Contract by 2 pixels. Restore the Yvette_TrueBlue_Paper4 and go to Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste/Paste Into Selection. Selections/Select None. Apply the same drop shadow effect as used in Step 2.

5. Activate Layer 4 and go to Selections/Select All; Selections/Float; Selections/Defloat. Flood fill the selected area with the foreground color. Selections/Modify/Contract by 2 pixels. Restore the Yvette_TrueBlue_Paper13 and go to Edit/Copy; back to the tag and Edit/Paste/Paste Into Selection. Do not deselect. Layers/New Raster Layer. Restore the Tubed by Monique42 tube and go to Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste/Paste Into Selection. Change the blend mode of this layer to Luminance (L) and lower the opacity to 75%. Selections/Select None. Layers/Merge/Merge Down. Apply the same drop shadow effect as used in Step 2 to this layer.

6. Activate Layer 5 and go to Selections/Select All; Selections/Float; Selections/Defloat. Flood fill the selection with the foreground color. Selections/Modify/Contract by 2 pixels. Restore the Yvette_TrueBlue_Paper13 and go to Edit/Copy; back to the tag and Edit/Paste/Paste Into Selection. Do not deselect. Layers/New Raster Layer. Restore the Tube 2047_Scenery_Landscape tube and go to Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste/Paste Into Selection. Selections/Select None. Lower the opacity of this layer to 45% and change the blend mode to Luminance (L). Layers/Merge/Merge Down. Apply the same drop shadow effect used in Step 2 to this layer.

7. Activate Layer 6 and go to Selections/Select All; Selections/Float; Selections/Defloat. Flood fill the selection with the foreground color. Selections/Modify/Contract by 2 pixels. Restore the Paper13 and go to Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste/Paste Into Selection. Do not deselect. Restore your male graphic that you will be using on this tag, and go to Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste/Paste Into Selection. Selections/Select None. Change the blend mode of this layer to Luminance (L). Layers/Merge/Merge Down. Apply the same drop shadow effect used in Step 2 to this layer.

8. Image/Canvas Size. Change the width of the tag to 600 and the height to 550; click on the center arrow.

9. Restore the tube that you will be using on your tag and go to Edit/Copy; back to your tag and Edit/Paste/Paste As New Layer. Resize your tube if needed and position the tube on your tag as shown in the header tag at the top of the page. Apply a drop shadow effect to the tube using the same settings as in Step 2 EXCEPT change the blur to 12.

10. Restore the Yvette_TrueBlue_BowonString1 and go to Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste/Paste As New Layer. Image/Resize. Resize the bow on a string by 55% one (1) time and by 75% two (2) times. Resize all layers is not checked; bicubic resize type is used. Add a drop shadow effect to the bow on a string using the same settings as used in Step 2 EXCEPT change the blur to 4. Position the bow as shown on the header tag above.

11. Restore the whatcowgirlslove_text and go to Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste/Paste As New Layer. Position the text at the top of the tag as shown on the header tag above. Restore the Yvette_TrueBlue_Tag1 and go to Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste/Paste As New Layer. Image/Resize. Resize this tag by 65% for a total of two (2) times. Image/Rotate. Rotate the name tag by 20 degrees to the left.

12. Colorize the name tag by going to Adjust/Hue and Saturation/Colorize using the settings shown below.

Hue 155; Saturation 65

13. Apply a drop shadow effect to the name tag using the same settings as used in Step 2 EXCEPT change the blur to 4. Drag this layer under layer 4 and position as shown in header tag at top of page. Add some text to your name tag if desired. Restore the Yvette_TrueBlue_RibbonHeart2 and go to Edit/Copy; back to the tag image and Edit/Paste/Paste As A New Layer. Image/Resize. Resize this tube by 40% one (1) time. Resize all layers is NOT checked; bicubic resize type is used. Apply the same drop shadow effect as used in Step 2 EXCEPT change the blur to 4. Place the Ribbon heart tube as shown in the header tag at the top of the page.

14. Add your text or watermark to your tag. I used Paper 10 for the text fill and paper 14 for the outline of the text. Position your text on your tag and apply a drop shadow effect. Layers/Merge/Merge Visible. Selections/Select All; Selections/Float; Selections/Defloat. Image/Crop to Selection. Layers/Merge/Merge All (flatten). Resize your tag if needed, and save in desired format.
